LEAVE YOU BREATHLESS
This project was inspired by the virus that changed the world. The backboard was used as a canvas where OTB member KicksTQ used a charcoal pencil to write down words such as “covid”, “death”, virus”. The backboard was then covered with “virus green” paint. Once the rim was fixed on and it was lifted for play , OTB members hooped on it with a Covid inspired basketball. This basketball had two layers. Layer 1 was covered with the words used above “covid”, “death”, virus”. The second layer that was wiped off after hooping with it had the words “love”, “family”, “silver lining” on the surface. The board was finished off with red spray paint with the word “LOVE”.
